About the Facilitator:

Alexia Halliday has over fifteen (15) years experience delivering a variety of training programmes across a range of industries in Barbados, Grenada and Trinidad.  Her training experience is complemented by her human resource and operations management experience, managing staff complements of up to 300 in a multi-shift environment.  This unique combination of training and experience has helped her to hone her coaching skills to be able to design and deliver practical content that increases participants’ confidence, performance and productivity.

Alexia has experience in providing training in the areas of customer service, supervisory management, motivation, team building, entry level training, communication and conflict resolution.  In addition, she has also performed customer service audits and designed and implemented employee intervention and job satisfaction programmes.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and is currently pursuing her Certified Trainer Designation with The Centre for Workplace Excellence in association with the University of Iowa.

We incorporate the following in our company tailored training programmes: 
  • Pre-workshop dialogues/contacts to develop an understanding of the Company’s culture and climate, and the skill level of the participants
  •  Customized programmes which focus on the Company’s needs 
  • Highly practical workshops focusing on actual issues raised by participants 
  • A wide variety of methodologies with emphasis on interactive, graphic and visual methods; consideration is given to the challenges of adult learning and application after the workshop  
  • Action plans to encourage participants to assess their development needs and to apply what they have learnt in their jobs after the workshop has ended 
  • Mutually agreed upon measurements in the evaluation of the programme

Open Courses:

We incorporate the following in our open course training programmes: 
  • Pre-workshop questionaires to develop an understanding of the skill level and work environment of the participants; this information is then used to customize the training programme to focus on the participants' needs as much as possible 
  • Highly practical workshop focusing on actual issues raised by participants 
  • A wide variety of methodologies with emphasis on interactive, graphic and visual methods; consideration is given to the challenges of adult learning and application after the workshop  
  • Action plans to encourage participants to assess their development needs and to apply what they have learnt in their jobs after the workshop has ended 
  • Mutually agreed upon measurements in the evaluation of the programme
